Trends in interior design

Fashion dictates its own rules not only in clothing, but also in the interior design of residential and non-residential premises. Of course, the owners of apartments and houses will not do repairs every year in an effort to meet the latest fashion trends. But those people who only have to worry about the design of their living space can take the opportunity to order a designer interior decor and bring to life all the trends of 2022.

What is relevant this year?

Gold, plaster columns, heavy curtains and rich decoration — all this has long since become irrelevant. Now designers prefer minimalism, the use of natural materials or textures that visually resemble wood, stone, sand. The most relevant color for interior decoration in 2021 is considered green, because it is associated with nature, calms the psyche well and sets a person up for positive emotions.

Due to the fact that the green color is now in trend, it is used for the decoration of walls, floors and ceilings. It is also not uncommon for designers to furnish rooms with green furniture, which goes well with both light and dark surface finishes. Due to the fact that the topic of rainforest conservation is increasingly being raised today, prints of exotic leaves, flowers and trees have recently been widely used in clothing and interior design. At the same time, it is not necessary to cover the whole room with wallpaper with tropical prints — they can decorate only one wall or even just throw a couple of pillows with patterns reminiscent of the jungle on the sofa.

Due to the fact that the light gray color visually increases the space, it is now also used everywhere. For example, the interior decor will be very creative and attractive if you use several shades of gray. And small bright details, such as orange cups or green plastic chairs, will help make the room interesting and catchy.
