Modern interior design
Hi-tech (high technology) is considered one of the ultramodern styles. It originates in the 60s of the 20th century, is close to constructivism, developed on the basis of the design of industrial premises, where each object has its own function.
Industrial aesthetics have moved into residential premises, many elements of engineering equipment are developing into decor, a lot of metal and glass parts appear, straight lines and simple shapes prevail. The main motives of the design are the lack of decor, geometry, monochrome, rationality. Pipes, cables, beams, lintels become the key points in the interior and give the space a complex structure.
As a rule, trends in interior design change every 5-10 years, but this style has lingered on the wave of popularity for many decades. It is usually found in combinations with other styles, from classics to “ethnic” trends. Such combinations are necessary in homes where several different generations live.
The interiors are quite refined, but harmonious. The ability of the designer to combine the details correctly and find a stylistic unity is also important, bringing to life all the wishes of the residents.
